All ready to depart!
Perptual Succour is restocked with water, diesel and provisions!
The shoulder is excellent – I climbed the mast yesterday to sort out a minor snag point that was caused by the storm trysail external track.
Now it’s just a question of timing with the weather. There is a low that is just about to cross from the Tasman into the Pacific. I was hoping to leave tomorrow, but it means that the full force of the low would hit me as I go past the Chatham Islands. It’s not the worst conditions out there, but 6 metre waves and 35 knot winds is not the greatest way to start a long journey!
So, I’ve decided to be patient and leave on Monday!
